Boil some potato half the way and set aside. Saute slices of one onion in olive oil and add 5 sliced tomatoes after 3 minutes, stir. After another few minutes of cooking add 3 chopped cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, and 2 bay leaves, and let simmer for a while. After that add a handful of capers, the boiled potatoes, and a dash of milk, and stir again. Finally lay some green peppers, fresh filets of fish with firm meat (fi john dory), and a good knob of butter over the tomatoes and let steam with the cover on top until the fish is done.
