Fig cake
stir 6 eggs and 350g of icing sugar until creamy slowly add 160ml of oil while continuing to stir, add 300g of flour and mix well butter a deep tray and pour the batter into it put the figs into the batter and bake for ca 20 minutes at 180C until brown
tips:
– works well with other fruits too, eg plums, apricots, etc
– make the toothpick test in order to see if the cake is baked enough
