Chicken Fricassée is a traditional French chicken stew. The creamy sauce makes it a perfect family-style meal, easy to share and prepare.

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • ca 500g of boneless chicken meat of preference
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 cup of cream
  • fresh thyme
  • basics from the pantry: olive oil, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, salt, pepper

 

tips:

 

  • serve with rice
  • add some chopped carrot and/or peas to the stew
  • half a glass of dry white wine gives the sauce an extra kick
