story: a tartar is our favourite way of preparing raw tuna. The lemon is key to it´s taste, remember to sprinkle the lemon over the dish right before eating it, otherwise the fish becomes grey.
Ingredients for 4 persons:
- 500g of fresh tuna
- 3 tsps of capers
- 2 tsps of mustard
- 1 spring onion
- 1 lemon
- pantry basics: olive oil, sea salt, 2-3 cloves of garlic
directions:
- cut the tuna into cubes
- capers
- spring onion
- mustard
- salt
- pepper
- mix
- olive oil
- mix
- serve with lemon
tips:
- try substituting the capers with fine cubes of fresh avocado
- substitute the spring onion with onion for a more intense taste
- squeeze the lemon over right before eating, otherwise the fish becomes grey
